Daren and Jodi Beck—ACTION International (Cambodia)

Praise:   Praise God for the True Gospel conference hosted by the Action Cambodia team in Phnom Penh last week; the event was sold out and well received by the Khmer Church.   Praise God for the ongoing opportunities He has given Daren to serve our global ACTION team as Associate International Director.

Prayer:    Pray for the new ACTION team which is on the ground in Beirut.   Pray for outreach opportunities

Frank Erb—Capitol Commission (USA)

Frank Erb—Capitol Commission (USA)

Praise:   I have had great opportunities at the Capitol lately to share the Good News of Jesus with many Senators and Assembly Members and Legislative Staff Members from many different religious and non-religious backgrounds, including Atheist, Agnostic, Jewish, Sikh, etc… and as always, both Democrats and Republicans. Many of them, though not believers, have also attended our weekly Capitol Bible Studies. God is at work!    My wife Valerie and I just celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary. We are also enjoying being new grandparents.

Prayer:   To my pleasant surprise, a non-believing State Senator who I have been reaching out to for many years finally attended our weekly Legislators Bible Study for the first time. It just so happened that the teaching I had planned for that day was a presentation of the gospel perfectly fitting for his background. God obviously brought him. Please pray for him to return and meet with me again.   At my urging, a growing group of State Assembly Members have started to meet in prayer to call on God before every Assembly Floor session. Please pray that this movement grows.

Henry and Grace Banda—YOLEDS (Youth Leadership Development in Sport) (Malawi)

Praise:   The Lord has been faithful to us, and the Sports Ministry and the Sports Programs have been doing well. In the past few months, through the ministry program of one-on-one and small group Bible study, 28 souls have been won to Christ. Praise the Lord for the opportunities to share the Gospel.   The local Church benefits from the Sports Ministry evangelism and discipleship programs. Praise the Lord for the people who are giving their lives to the Lord.

Prayer:   Please pray for me for God’s grace as I attend my medical check-up at the end of June.  Please pray as I am developing a local sports ministry through the local churches. Pray for God’s provision for funds to buy Bibles and Sports Outreach discipleship materials.

Jay Devers—Dynamic Church Planting International (Worldwide)

Praise:   We have received another offer for the sale of our house. We are in escrow and it should be just 15 days until finalization. We are so thankful for this.    We are in Michigan with Karen’s parents and extended family. We are thankful for them in our lives and pray we are a blessing to all of them as well.
Prayer:   Upon the sale of our Lincoln home we can now earnestly hunt for our next residence here in Michigan. Pray for God’s direction and wisdom.   Currently Karen and I are at a Ripe for Harvest bi-annual gathering. This is taking place at the Ark Encounter in Kentucky. Pray with us for great connections, networking and for the Lord’s work to greatly multiply through this.

Karen Devers— Ripe for Harvest (Global)
Praise:   The timeline of our adjustment to Michigan has gone just as planned. We’ve gotten a good picture of the needs of my family. It’s had challenges but we are adjusting and there is so much peace knowing that we are where we are meant to be.   I have had beautiful Ministry calls and connections in June with my leaders in the USA, France, Indonesia and Nepal. They are all serving the Lord in tough places yet faithful to the people and work God has given them.

Prayer:   Pray for guidance and wisdom for our next living situation. We have been looking for houses in the small town near my parents.   Nicole, at Kasih Community School in Indonesia, needs one full fee student for both the summer program and next academic school year. Please pray that this will be fulfilled.

Lincoln Christian Academy, Lincoln, CA (USA)

Lincoln Christian Academy, Lincoln, CA (USA)

Praise:   We are so grateful for the wisdom, insight and time the Lord has given us to continue refining our policies and procedures – keeping Christ at the center of all we do at Lincoln Christian Academy.   We also thank Him for His provision for the staff members we were unable to keep employed this summer due to low enrollment. He has been faithful in caring for their needs.

Prayer:     Please join us in praying for our enrollment, especially in our Transitional Kindergarten class, which is currently very low for the upcoming school year.  Pray for spiritual covering over our staff and families as these difficult and emotional decisions are being made. Also pray for clear guidance and unity for our administrative team as we seek God’s will in every step.

Paul and Grace Moses—India Sports Ministry/Sangita Charitable Trust/Widows’ Program (India)

Paul and Grace Moses—India Sports Ministry/Sangita Charitable Trust/Widows’ Program (India)

Praise:   We are so grateful and thankful to God for lifting us and our ministries to the throne of grace and favor. We are grateful to you, LCC.  o Amazing to see the enthusiasm and desire to play sports and listen to the Gospel. Such an encouragement of intentional sport and mission by a local church. Have never seen anything like this – flourishing church based sports ministry in our region.   Praise that churches are seeing this value and embracing Sports Ministry more than ever before. The strictly traditional denominational churches and the super spiritual churches that once regarded sport as evil are also quickly embracing this culturally relevant platform for church growth and outreach. Praise our God.

Prayer:  o Pray for the new academic year that the children will grow up in the fear and knowledge of God.   Please pray for all the widows that we serve.

Ruth Veltkamp—Set Free Ministries (Nigeria)

Ruth Veltkamp—Set Free Ministries (Nigeria)

Praise:   During Ramadan, the teachers who sent their students home with Arabic Bibles were very busy answering questions from parents. Over 700 students have returned, eager to continue their studies of this new ‘textbook’. Only 17 have not returned.     During March, five desert Tuareg people were baptized, including one who is respected as a religious authority.

Prayer:  The distribution of those Arabic Bibles mentioned above has come to the notice of the government in a state ruled by Muslims. Pray that God will be with the teachers to protect them and to give good answers concerning the hope they now have in Jesus.   Pray for the five Tuareg new believers for protection, wisdom and bold witness for Jesus among their own people, 99.5% Muslim. Pray that God will provide the up to 2000 Tuareg New Testaments that these men are asking for to evangelize their own people.

Steve and Dawn Liberti—NAB Conference/Proclaim Ministries (Germany/Global)

Praise:   We praise God for a recent ministry trip to Lima, Peru. Steve joined a team for evangelistic ministry in Lima supporting small churches and church planters to reach their communities for Christ. We believe that at least 12 people came to saving faith in our Lord Jesus during this campaign and several thousand heard the Gospel boldly and clearly   Praise God for two recent successful and fruitful events, one in Florida and one in California, as our mission Proclaim International celebrated 25 years of continuous ministry around the world. May God give us another 25 years of coming alongside under resourced churches who want to make disciples in their communities.

Prayer:   Please pray for Steve as he is preparing to lead two teams for a 5-week evangelistic ministry trip to two countries a bit later this summer. Please ask God to bring people with open hearts and minds to public outreach events who need the Lord Jesus and the hope that comes from following Him.    Please pray for a man named Jose who we met in a recent ministry trip to Peru. He is in the middle of some serious addictive behavior and is crying out for help. A local pastor will be following up with him. Praise God for his decision to follow Jesus.

Sacramento Valley Teen Challenge (USA)

Sacramento Valley Teen Challenge (USA)

Praise:   We are thankful for the chance that all of our students had to come together for laughter, worship, fellowship, volleyball, softball games, and an epic cookout at our Annual Teen Challenge District Picnic. We are so thankful for moments like these where joy, healing, and community collide in the middle of the recovery journey.   We are thankful for the successful Golf Tournament we held in Redding to benefit our Happy Valley Women and Children’s Center. The ladies had a wonderful time and had an opportunity to share their stories with those that were in attendance. It was a great day!
Prayers:     As our Annual Galas are approaching, please pray that these events would bring many in to celebrate our students and all that they have accomplished. This is a great opportunity for the community to witness what the Lord can do in the life of a struggling individual through Teen Challenge.    We are still requesting prayer for the additional staff members needed at our centers.

Ring Dilbung—East India

Ring Dilbung—East India

Praise:   We thank God for His daily provision over Angel Home. Two Hindu children have recently accepted Jesus as their personal Savior and now walk in their identity in Christ. Praise God!   We are grateful for how God has helped us reach more lives and uplifted us in our ministry. Also not forgetting to thank God for my women’s Bible Study team for their spiritual growth.

Prayers:   Please pray for our women’s ministry team as we plan to reach remote areas of Bhutan in the month of September where the Gospel is still unheard in September.    Kindly pray for God’s provision.
